Talent Strategy & Organizational Change Management Office drives a comprehensive and strategic approach to improving and enhancing an organization’s overall effectiveness, efficiency, and adaptability. It involves implementing planned interventions and initiatives to enhance various aspects of the organization, including its structure, culture, processes, and human resources.

The position
As the Organizational Development and Change Management Lead, you will support the Head of People Strategy Office by leading culture and organisation development initiatives across the entire organization. You will also involve driving critical global/internal cross-functional initiatives/projects that require drastic change, through readiness building, capability development and change monitoring.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Launch the regional Organizational Development COE to provide strategic expertise within the context of People &Organization. Collaborate with the Head of People Strategy Office to offer a solid foundation for leaders and HR Business Partners to drive organizational development within their lines of business.
  • Identify and consolidate organizational development challenges and opportunities at the enterprise level. Monitor organizational data to identify cross-area trends and needs that require attention.
  • Provide guidance, training, and insights to HR Business Partners to drive organizational development within their lines of business. Develop frameworks to help HR Business Partners and leaders drive organizational readiness in their lines of business.
  • Plan and execute culture change initiatives, such as enterprise mindsets and 4 themes by utilizing communication channel. Support other team initiatives and collaborates with talent management initiatives.
  • Target key stakeholders with tailored communication and engagement activities to ensure they are ready and committed to the change. Facilitate effective collaboration with project contributors across the organization for efficient and timely project delivery.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in human resource management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in HR strategic areas, with proven working experience in Organizational Development, and at least 3 years of formal project management experience are required. 
  • Additional experience in a wide range of HR or other business areas and consultant experience is a plus. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of performance improvement principles and practices and demonstrated knowledge of instructional design, adult learning, performance management, and team development practices.
  • Fluent in Japanese and Business-Level English is required. (Effective communication including report/presentation development in English and Japanese)
