The Key Account Management group currently has 5 team members reporting directly to the Director. Since we are launching new products, we are looking for new members who aim to improve health and quality of life, for people living with Rare Blood disorders and Rare Endocrine disorders.
 
The Position
The successful candidate will liaise with external/internal stakeholders in the market to drive execution with Medical Doctors, high prescribers, next generations, external professionals, and organizations including patient association.  The role will also work with KAM, sales, marketing and medical teams in analysing information, prioritizing opportunities, resources critical to an account, and creating a robust roadmap for the launch of Concizumab with practical application. The role will be evaluating and modifying commercial actions, brand plan and execution to achieve sales target and open accounts, and will also be encouraging collaboration with all internal/external stakeholders led by the director of Key account management group and will be maximizing the capabilities of sales reps who are in charge of key accounts with Area Managers.
Detailed tasks are as follows: 

  • Input into brand planning process, and manage operational process, and help creating go-to-market activity plan (Plan of Action, collaborations, etc.) and manage execution, monitoring and modifying the brand plan from the key insights gained from Medical Doctors, high prescribers, patient association and market activities
  • Ownership of short and midterm haemophilia market perspective: developing qualitative and quantitative inputs to the brand plan and Novo Nordisk Japan budget, and update knowledge and competitors’ activities, and suggesting better brand plan to internal stakeholders
  • Ensure to maximize haemophilia sales by cross functional approach and leading commercial plan, and create internal/external materials and manage the national promotional events, together with Key Healthcare Practitioners, internal stakeholders
  • Lead the non-promotional campaigns (Changing Haemophilia activities, Disease awareness activities etc.) with Market Access & External Affairs division, team, and Concizumab account opening with PMS contract including IVD monitoring and lead the key insight into Concizumab roadmap
  • Coaching sales reps who oversee key accounts with area managers regarding strategic plan and executions

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a minimum of 5-7 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally having worked as a senior MR (Medical Representative in charge of Medical Doctors or worked in a brand team as well as other functional areas (public affairs, medical affairs, market access).
  • Good English and Japanese language skills, written and verbal, with strong negotiation skill to influence external/internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrate ability to constructively challenge assumptions and directly influence others in a respectful manner.
  • Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills, with great communication & social skills; professional presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, and has knowledge and understanding of local and corporate compliance and regulatory processes.
