About the Department

Anchored in our Global Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence (Global TA CoE), you will report to the Head of TA of EMEA, LATAM and JAPAC. Being anchored in the Global TA CoE, means that you will be joining a global team of functional subject matter experts in all areas of talent acquisition and will therefore be able to tap into the wealth of global TA best practice, and subsequently translate into local initiatives in Japan. As Head of TA, Japan you will head up a small, but mighty team of 2 highly engaged Talent Acquisition Partners.

 

The position

As Head of Talent Acquisition, Japan, you will be expected to understand and translate the talent needs of the business units you and your team support and translate them into effective talent acquisition strategies and initiatives and ensure a seamless customer experience on each recruitment. Furthermore, enhancing our employer brand in Japan will be one of your top priorities in 2022. As a leader in Novo Nordisk you will play a key role in developing your team to perform at their best as TA Partners as well as safeguarding their engagement and well-being. Key to success in this role will be your ability to build strong relations your stakeholders and your peers all aimed at ensuring timely supply of talent to Novo Nordisk.

 

Qualifications

You have an academic degree and minimum 4 years of experience within Talent Acquisition. You are an engaging TA leader or Senior Talent Acquisition Project Manager with an aspiration for a leadership role. You thrive in a multinational environment and can skilfully navigate in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders, locally, regionally and globally. You have strong communications and project management skills and a good command of English and Japanese. Lastly, you come with a solid reputation when it comes to ethical values and standards.
