About the department
The Digital Innovation Hub Japan is a joint effort of Global Digital Data & IT, International Operations, and Region Japan, led by the Business Innovation Garage in Novo Nordisk’s Headquarters in Denmark. The team focuses on driving innovation and digital transformation within Novo Nordisk, exploring the impact of technology in healthcare and accelerating digital transformation through partnerships within the digital healthcare ecosystem. The position
As the Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) Lead at Novo Nordisk, Japan, you will lead the search, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies and ideas in collaboration with external partners in the digital healthcare ecosystem. Your role is pivotal in driving Novo Nordisk's digital partnering efforts in Region Japan, establishing and running the Digital Innovation Hub, creating trend insights, scalable pilot projects, and engaging with the digital healthcare ecosystem to meet regional and global needs. You will identify new partner opportunities to facilitate the execution of new tech and ideas within the organization.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Lead and manage the Digital Innovation Hub Japan, driving innovation and growth by collaborating with regional and local business units. Implement digital partnering processes, bringing new ideas and solutions to the forefront.
- Work within a global network of hubs to scale successful solutions and drive digital transformation. Establish the Digital Innovation Hub within the Japanese digital healthcare ecosystem.
- Act as a trusted advisor, sharing insights and knowledge on business challenges and constraints.
- Curate information, distill insights, and disseminate knowledge throughout the organization, serving as a trusted advisor well-versed in business challenges and limitations.
- Articulate and convey compelling messages to stakeholders across the business, leveraging robust communication and stakeholder management abilities to instigate transformative change.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum bachelor’s degree.
- Proven experience in leading innovation initiatives and driving digital transformation, preferable within the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in developing relationships and working on high-profile cross-functional and multinational initiatives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with internal and external parties. Knowledge of business challenges and constraints, with experience in working with regional and local business units.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing opportunities and threats within emerging technologies. Eagerness to challenge traditional methodologies and build something new.
- Fluency in English and Japanese is essential.
