About the department
You will be joining the Sales Management & Development Office (Diabetes & Obesity Sales), a team dedicated to driving excellence in sales performance. Based in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, our department focuses on equipping our sales teams with the skills and tools they need to succeed. With a strong emphasis on innovation and continuous improvement, we strive to make a meaningful impact on Novo Nordisk's business goals and the patients we serve.

 

The position
As the Sales Training and Development Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the skills and capabilities of our sales force. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing, leading, and developing a team of 4 dedicated Sales Training professionals.
  • Developing and localizing training content to meet the specific needs of our sales teams.
  • Designing and delivering Medical Representative (MR) training programs to enhance performance and engagement.
  • Supporting organizational design and workforce planning by analyzing and identifying current and future capability requirements.
  • Ensuring the successful implementation of business strategies through workforce development and career planning.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • 5+ years of experience as an MR required
  • 2+ years of sales training and/or MR development experience required
  • People Management experience strongly preferred
  • Fluent Japanese and Business English strongly preferred
