The Position
As Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for the end-to-end Supply Chain operations of the Global Customer Operations unit in Cham (Switzerland). As such the demand planning, replenishment planning, supply planning, inventory, purchasing of raw materials (when applicable), Customer Relationship, Order-to-Cash processes, New Product Introductions and she/he is also directly and operationally taking care of Master Data. You will work in close collaboration with Finance, Quality, Commercial Operations, Procurement and with the different manufacturing sites (e.g. Anagni in Italy, Bloomington in the U.S. and Brussels in Belgium).
The Supply Chain Director is part of the Site Leadership Team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Ensure effective Supply Chain operations within Global Customer Operations unit
• Interface with Novo Nordisk support functions from Global Supply Chain
• Interact with CDMO Customers to fulfil our supply obligations
• Member of Site Leadership Team
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have a Bachelor of Science degree and an APICS/ASCM Certification. Additionally, having Lean Six Sigma Certification is a plus. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
In addition, you also bring:
• Over 7 years of Supply Chain Planning experience, preferably in the life-science industry
• Experience in Customer Relationship Management
• Experience in process optimization
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of cGxP and relevant guidelines
• Cross-organizational and cultural understanding
• Documented international experience with major multicultural assignments
• Management and leadership experience at a senior management level
On a personal note, you should be proficient in managing complex, cross-site, and cross-functional tasks. These tasks require working across various organizational levels and balancing the interests of multiple global stakeholders. You should possess superior communication skills, both oral and written, and have a strong ability to collaborate. An affinity for numbers and a structured analytical approach is essential, along with active listening skills, a result-focused and problem-solving mindset, and high personal integrity. You should be able to work independently as well as in a team, and have the capability to work, build relationships, and establish trust at all levels of an organization and across different cultures.

SwissCo CDMO Operations GmbH is based in Cham Switzerland and is a part of Novo Nordisk External Supply - an international and high-performing organisation. The Cham office consists of around 25 people from multiple different countries. Our responsibility is to ensure high quality and compliant operations, delivering products and services to our partners.
