This role is a 2-year contract.

The Position
As a Field Sales Representative, you will ensure territory sales performance vs targets and market share developments. You will plan and execute all Call Activities. You will execute sales calls according to marketing strategy. You will ensure high quality account plans exist across all key accounts within your designated territory responsible to you including SMART objectives and a strong tactical plan. Liaising with peers including Marketing, Market Access and Medical team to maximize the sales of NN products. You execute sales strategies effectively, efficiently and ethically and participate as a member of a high performing team by sourcing and communicating market information to the team.
Your other main responsibilities include:
•    Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
•    Identifying potential customers and build strong relationships with existing customers.
•    Conducting sales activities, including product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations.
•    Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and meet customer needs.
•    Providing accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and market trends.

Qualifications
To be effective in this role, it is mandatory to have:
•    At least 3 years of experience as a Sales Representative in pharmaceutical industry. 
•    University degree preferably in Life Science, Healthcare or related field.
•    Solid knowledge of MS Office.
•    Fluent English.
•    Based in Western Cape, surrounding.
•    Driving license and willingness to travel within Western Cape.

About the department
Novo Nordisk South Africa is looking to appoint a Field Sales Representative who will be changing possibilities for people living with rare diseases, by promoting and selling Novo Nordisk products to selected targeted customers in the Western Cape area through implementation of the agreed Marketing and Sales strategies in a manner that is consistent with operational requirements and upholding the Novo Nordisk Way.
