The position 

As a Medical Science Liaison, you will: 

  • Deliver in-depth, scientifically accurate medical knowledge to internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance for new products and product amendments while supporting the resolution of legal liabilities in accordance with governmental regulations.

  • Develop and design safety surveillance strategies to support product approval and lifecycle management.

  • Provide safety support to clinical development teams, contributing to risk management planning and safety strategy.

  • Contribute to trends and safety signal detection, as well as risk assessment throughout the product lifecycle. 
     

Qualifications 

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following qualifications: 

  • Medical degree required, with at least 2 years of clinical experience or experience as a Medical Science Liaison in the pharmaceutical industry. Postgraduate studies (e.g., epidemiology, public health) are a plus. 

  • Desirable experience or strong knowledge in diabetes and obesity, with the ability to engage in meaningful scientific dialogue with healthcare professionals. 

  • Based in Cali, Colombia (residency is mandatory); open to regular field travel in the region. 

  • Intermediate English proficiency, capable of reading scientific literature and participating in global medical events. 

  • Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, autonomy, and a strong ethical mindset. Experience in the planning and development of continuous medical education activities is a plus.
