Your new role
In this full-time permanent role, you will promote Novo Nordisk's portfolio to General Practitioners and Pharmacists across Mandurah, Bunbury, Busselton and the Southwest, with Albany as your country trip. Expect variety, autonomy, strong customer relationships and the chance to promote treatments that genuinely change lives.
Day-to-day your tasks will include:
- Engaging with existing General Practitioners and expanding the target group of customers across your territory
- Building patient-centric HCP relationships through a highly organised, self-motivated and driven approach
- Developing and executing a robust territory business plan, leveraging face-to-face and digital engagements to create a personalised omni-channel experience for your customers
- Executing marketing strategies, conducting group presentations, and monitoring and reporting on competitor activity
- Working in accordance with business ethics procedures and local laws, as well as the Novo Nordisk Way and internal policies
Your new department
Novo Nordisk Oceania is a high-performing affiliate operating in a mature pharma market. You will liaise with colleagues from Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Clinical, Medical & Regulatory teams based at our head office in North Sydney, while developing and implementing your own territory business plans and prospecting new customers to drive results for our new and existing products.
As GP Sales Representative, you will join a high-performing sales team promoting Novo Nordisk products both in person and virtually across your designated territory, reporting directly to the State Sales Manager.
Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a new GP Sales Representative who will enjoy working in a high-paced, dynamic environment. You'll bring with you:
- GP sales experience within the pharmaceutical or similar industry – ideally working and living on or near the advertised geographical territory
- A strong sales background with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
- Tertiary education, preferably in Life Sciences, Nursing or Biomedical, with the ability to absorb complex clinical data and communicate it clearly to customers
- A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly, including occasional extended hours and weekends
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (mandatory)
