Your impact begins here

As Medical Advisor, you will bring scientific insight to Novo’s work in Hungary and turn it into medical strategy that works in practice. You will be the scientific partner for healthcare professionals and key experts, and the link between clinical evidence and commercial teams. By sharing clear, reliable science and spotting gaps in care, you help people living with serious chronic diseases get the right support, today.

What you’ll bring

You bring scientific depth, good judgement and the confidence to explain complex data clearly.

  • An advanced degree in Life Sciences (MD, PharmD or PhD).
  • 1–3 years of experience in a medical position.
  • Native Hungarian and English at B2 level.
  • Knowledge of the relevant disease areas and products, and a habit of keeping your scientific knowledge up to date.
  • The ability to review scientific materials critically, challenge assumptions and identify evidence gaps.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, useful insights for different audiences.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking, an understanding of the business environment, and the ability to work with large volumes of data.
  • Ethical judgement and integrity, and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Useful, but not essential

Experience in cardiometabolic or obesity care, or in supporting clinical or non-interventional studies.

What you’ll do

You will work across five medical focus areas, helping Hungary turn science into better-informed decisions and better care.

  • Provide medical and scientific support, including insights from key opinion leaders, to shape the local medical and marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Hold medical dialogue with external customers, respond to medical information requests in a timely way, and support the handling of drug and device safety information and off-label requests in line with company policies.
  • Contribute to clinical evidence generation, including feasibility and site selection, local investigator meetings and non-interventional studies where needed.
  • Review promotional and educational materials for scientific accuracy, safety and off-label information, and select and brief speakers for medical events.
  • Support better care pathways by identifying guideline gaps and unmet needs, engaging with those involved in guideline development, and supporting patient activation and referral pathway initiatives.
  • Build organisational readiness by presenting medical updates, training the field force and onboarding new colleagues.

Who you’ll work with

You will be an individual contributor in the Medical team in Hungary, part of International Operations, reporting to the Senior Manager, Medical. Your closest partners will be cross-functional colleagues at affiliate and business area level, including marketing, sales and MAPA, who rely on you for clear scientific direction.

Externally, you will work with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals across your regional territory in Hungary, according to your assignment. You will use your influence, not authority, to build trust, create clarity and keep work moving.

What you can expect here

You will work in a role with real scientific and strategic influence, where your expertise is valued and your voice is heard. You will grow through cross-functional collaboration, the chance to share knowledge through training and mentoring, and a culture that expects high performance and honest feedback.
