Your new role
As a Regional Medical Advisor, your main task will be to translate and implement Medical Affairs strategies in support of the Novo Nordisk Hungarian Rare Diseases or Cardiometabolic product portfolio. With your solid scientific skills together with knowledge of the Rare Diseases or Cardiometabolic area and Hungarian healthcare structure, you will build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to advance the management of Rare Diseases or Cardiometabolic
Moreover, you will:

Act as a scientific and strategic leader within the Medical Affairs team, bridging clinical development and commercial teams.

Provide medical and scientific support to affiliate medical and marketing strategies, including organising advisory boards and participating in scientific events.

Engage in scientific dialogue with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) to ensure the dissemination of up-to-date medical knowledge.

Contribute to clinical evidence generation, including feasibility studies, site selection, and support for non-interventional studies.

Drive medical education initiatives, including field force training, onboarding newcomers, and presenting medical updates.

Support patient activation and clinical care pathways by identifying guideline gaps, unmet needs, and referral pathways.

Ensure compliance with ethical standards, company procedures, and Novo Nordisk Way in all activities.
Your new department
Medical Affairs in Hungary is a dynamic and collaborative environment where we focus on driving medical strategies and building strong scientific relationships to advance the management of serious chronic diseases. Our team is dedicated to translating and implementing medical strategies to support Novo Nordisk's Rare Diseases or Cardiometabolic portfolio. We work closely with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to ensure the dissemination of up-to-date medical knowledge and clinical trial data. By developing solutions along clinical care pathways, we aim to deliver optimal care and improve patient outcomes. As a Regional Medical Advisor, you will report directly to the Senior Medical Manager.
Your skills & qualifications
We are searching for highly collaborative and communicative candidates with excellent scientific data literacy, besides presentation and networking skills, who meet the following criteria:

Advanced degree in Life Sciences (MD, Pharm D or PhD) and at least 3-5 years of medical experience, preferably the Rare Diseases or Cardiometabolic

Deep knowledge of the cardiometabolic / rare disease area and the Hungarian Health Care System

Suitable experience in communicating science and leading medical discussions with various audiences

Native Hungarian and fluent English skills (both written and spoken)
