The Position

 

As a Field Sales Manager, you will build and generate sustainable regional sales/market share by effectively executing sales/marketing plans. Also drive and follow up on national sales strategy and manage the development of the sales team and collaborate cross-functionally with other roles and functions. The role will be covering Central and Eastern Hungary.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Represent Novo Nordisk’s vision, values, and commitments in daily interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and control sales force efforts to deliver planned sales targets and optimize sales opportunities.
  • Develop and implement sales strategy; identifying potential customers; managing existing customer relationships; sales activities; sales operation and administration.
  • Motivate and commit the sales force to deliver on/beyond sales targets and control the quality and quantity of work of sales reps.
  • Act in line with ethical standards, company procedures, and Novo Nordisk Way of Management.

 

Qualifications

 

To succeed in this role, you should have Master degree (preferably) related to natural science or health care.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in field sales and people management.
  • Understanding of local pharmaceutical market, insights in clinical practice, private market and pharmacy segment is a benefit.
  • Strong people management experience and a history of successful sales and account management.

 

As a professional, you possess strong communication, listening, and selling skills. Your networking abilities, interpersonal skills, special skills in addition to leadership role and team-working capabilities make you a valuable collaborator. Your commitment to integrity and strong ethics further solidifies your trustworthiness and reliability.

Located in Hungary, our department is responsible for running the sales activities of the organisation. We represent Novo Nordisk to promote and sell our products to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals, and other public/private institutions.
