Your impact begins here

As Key Account Manager – Retail & Private Healthcare Partnerships, you will build the relationships that improve how people in Romania access their treatment. You will develop strategies with pharmacy chains, independent pharmacies and private healthcare providers, turning partnerships into better access, awareness and support for patients. Your work will strengthen customer engagement across the market and help more people living with serious chronic diseases get the care they need, sooner.

Please note: this is a field-based role.

What you’ll bring

You know the Romanian healthcare and pharmacy landscape and how to turn that understanding into strong, trusted partnerships. To do this well, you’ll bring:

•  A university degree.

•  3–5 years of experience in Key Account Management or Business Development within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

•  Hands-on experience working with pharmacy chains.

•  A proven track record managing complex customer portfolios and cross-functional initiatives.

•  Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to use data to shape account strategies.

•  Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to build alignment without direct authority.

•  Project management capabilities and a genuinely customer-centric mindset.

•  Fluent English and a valid driving licence.

Useful, but not essential:

•  Experience collaborating with private healthcare providers or clinic networks.

What you’ll do

You will own the relationships with your assigned key accounts and turn strategy into results that customers, patients and Novo can all see. You will:

•  Develop and execute account strategies and Joint Business Plans for national and regional pharmacy chains and independent pharmacies, prioritising accounts by business potential.

•  Map private healthcare providers and build partnerships with clinic networks and private hospitals to improve diagnosis, referral pathways and patient access.

•  Identify opportunities to strengthen pharmacy activation, education and patient support, and help develop integrated patient programmes with partners.

•  Execute customer engagement and partnership initiatives, coordinate delivery with cross-functional teams and manage your assigned budgets.

•  Monitor pharmacy and private healthcare market dynamics, track partnership KPIs and use customer insights to optimise your plans.

•  Explore new collaboration and omnichannel models that improve the customer experience, patient journey and adherence, keeping every activity compliant with the Novo Way.
