We are looking for a Business Insights Manager who can help shape decisions and strengthen customer and consumer engagement through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration.

 

 

Your new role

As Business Insights Manager, you will play a key role in enabling smarter decision-making across the affiliate. You will transform complex data into clear recommendations that support business growth, engagement, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage market research projects, including vendor selection and project execution, to generate actionable insights.
  • Assess business intelligence maturity and data adoption levels while partnering with stakeholders to build capabilities and strengthen a data-driven culture.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to Leadership, Commercial, and Marketing teams through advanced analytics, market intelligence, and performance insights.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market developments, and external benchmarks to ensure the organisation maintains an outward-looking perspective.
  • Contribute to hypothesis-driven investigations, identify emerging trends, and develop clear, evidence-based storylines that inspire action and support sustainable business performance.

 

Your new department

You will join the Data Insights area withing the Marketing & Strategy function in Romanian affiliate. The department plays a critical role in generating strategic insights, strengthening commercial effectiveness, and advancing data-driven decision-making across the organisation. Through close partnership with local and regional stakeholders, the team helps shape business priorities and drive meaningful outcomes for patients and the business.

 

Your skills and qualifications

To succeed in this position, you are an analytical thinker with a passion for solving complex business challenges. You are comfortable working with diverse datasets, engaging with diverse stakeholders, and influencing decisions through well-structured insights and recommendations.

We expect you to have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within Business Insights, Business Intelligence, Competitive Intelligence or Market Research function
  • Strong knowledge of market research methodologies, insight generation, customer engagement analytics, and commercial performance monitoring.
  • Demonstrated ability to build compelling narratives, communicate complex findings clearly, and influence stakeholders at different organisational levels.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and managing external providers such as research agencies, data vendors, or intelligence platforms.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Romanian

 

The ideal candidate will also bring strong business acumen, strategic thinking, ownership, change leadership capabilities, and a continuous improvement mindset. Experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or highly regulated industries will be considered an advantage.

  • Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 247,380.00 y 445,280.00 RON, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
  • Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
