The position

As the Market Access Manager, you will monitor market access activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams and negotiate with key stakeholders to secure favorable market access conditions. You will ensure the availability of our products in the market according to the Novo Nordisk Belux strategy by taking and executing pricing and market access initiative.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing local market access action plans, in line with local and global market access ambitions and marketing strategies.
  • Building pricing and reimbursement files, ensuring follow-up once submitted to the competent authorities.
  • Participating to meetings in the pharmaceutical industry and feedback critical information to the business.
  • Monitor and report key-facts and trends at national level to exploit opportunities and to mitigate pricing threats.
  • Ensuring cross functional alignment and being member of the brand teams.

 

Qualifications

  • You have a master’s degree in sciences, public health, economics or similar.
  • You preferably have 3 to 4 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • You demonstrate strong knowledge of pricing and reimbursement system in Belgium and Luxembourg.
  • Proven track record of successful market access initiatives and experience setting up RWE projects (Managed Entry Agreements).
  • You are fluent in English and French/Dutch (oral and written).

About the department

Novo Nordisk started in Belgium in 1974. We are a company of 100 people. Reporting to the Market Access Director of Novo Nordisk Belgium, you will be part of a team of three talented colleagues.

The Market Access department is responsible for securing proper patients access to our innovative medicines and building trust-based relationships with stakeholders. We aspire to be a proactive and solutions-oriented partner to patients and policymakers in the joint ambition to raise the standards of care in our therapy areas and help solve society’s fundamental challenges.
