We’re looking for an inspiring Sales & Commercial Director to lead our Novo Nordisk Slovakia business, driving excellence, innovation, and growth.
Your new role
As Sales & Commercial Director for Novo Nordisk Slovakia, you will take full ownership of designing, developing, and executing our go-to-market sales strategy. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams and the Business Area, you’ll ensure our products reach the people who need them most — while driving sustainable business performance and a culture of excellence.
You’ll lead, develop, and empower a high-performing team of sales professionals, nurturing their potential and fostering collaboration across commercial, medical, and market access functions. In this role you will:
- Lead the design, development, and execution of Novo Nordisk go-to-market sales strategy, focusing on driving growth through strong partnerships with pharmacy chains, hospitals, and private clinics.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and the Business Area to unlock the full potential of Novo Nordisk portfolio.
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key healthcare stakeholders to enhance patient access and brand performance.
- Drive the implementation of commercial initiatives that strengthen Novo Nordisk’s presence across all healthcare channels.
- Lead, empower, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering collaboration and excellence in stakeholder engagement.
- Utilize data, insights, and digital tools to tailor customer approaches and optimize engagement across pharmacy and clinical networks.
- Champion Novo Nordisk’s culture, ethics, and leadership values, inspiring your team to make a real difference for patients and partners alike.

We’re looking for a strategic, people-focused leader with commercial acumen who combines strategic vision with hands-on execution. You bring energy, curiosity, and a genuine passion for improving patient outcomes through innovation and partnership. Confident yet collaborative, you inspire your team to perform at their best while staying true to Novo Nordisk’s values.
- Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong track record in building and negotiating strategic partnerships with pharmacy chains, hospitals, and private clinics.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and develop collaboration opportunities with MedTech and healthcare innovation projects.
- Deep commercial acumen with the ability to translate insights and data into impactful business decisions.
- Demonstrated success in product launches and multichannel engagement strategies.
- Agile, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multinational, and matrixed environment.
- Inspirational communicator with a positive, can-do mindset and a passion for coaching, developing, and empowering others.
