Your new role 

The P&O Director for the Colombia´s affiliate is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining and executing the People & Organization agenda across the affiliate. The position acts as a critical role in translating business strategy and transformation priorities into impactful P&O initiatives that drive performance, agility, and sustainable growth. 

Reporting to the Colombia´s General Manager, the P&O Director serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and as an active member of regional leadership forums. The role partners closely with affiliate management teams, the regional P&O organization, and global Centers of Excellence to enable a new operating model, support agile ways of working, and strengthen leadership and organizational capabilities across the affiliate. 
The role provides leadership to the P&O team, with three direct reports. The P&O Director is accountable for developing people, ensuring consistent execution of the P&O strategy, and fostering strong collaboration across local, regional, and global teams. Key Responsibilities will include: 

  • Define and implement a Colombia wide People & Organization strategy aligned with global P&O direction, regional ambitions, and current and mid-term business objectives. 

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the Colombia´s General Manager and leadership teams, contributing to business planning, decision-making, and transformation initiatives. 

  • Drive organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and capability building to support performance in fast-changing and competitive market conditions. 

  • Lead, develop, and engage the local P&O team, ensuring strong talent management, succession planning, and people development across Colombia. 

  • Ensure effective governance, alignment, and execution of P&O initiatives across the affiliate, in close collaboration with global P&O, Centers of Excellence, and key stakeholders. 

 

Your Skills and Qualifications 

  • University degree required; Advanced Degree (Master’s, MBA, or equivalent) preferred. 

  • Solid experience in People & Organization / Human Resources roles, with strong expertise in HR processes like Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Organisational design and Employee relations.  

  • Proven leadership capability, with experience leading senior teams and influencing executive stakeholders. 

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate strategy into practical people and organizational solutions. 

  • Experience supporting transformation, organizational change, and new ways of working. 

  • Multinational experience is a strong plus 

  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

People & Organization (P&O) for the Colombian affiliate is responsible for delivering strategic HR leadership and operational excellence, ensuring alignment between business priorities and people initiatives. The department oversees talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, organizational design, employee relations and compliance with local labor regulations, while promoting a culture of inclusion, integrity and continuous development. Working closely with business leaders and global P&O functions, Colombia´s P&O team drives workforce planning, leadership development and change management to support sustainable growth and business objectives.
