Shape how medical science reaches patients in the digital age. Join us to pioneer a customer-centric medical strategy that goes beyond traditional channels – connecting with healthcare professionals, Digital Opinion Leaders (DOLs) and patients in entirely new ways.
Your new role
As our new Digital & Multichannel Medical Manager, you will lead the design and execution of innovative digital medical strategies across Diabetes, Obesity and Rare Diseases. The real challenge – and opportunity – of this role is to rethink how medical messages travel: moving beyond classic HCP engagement to embrace DOLs, patients and broader healthcare communities through smart, scalable digital channels.
Day-to-day, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing customer-centric digital and multichannel medical strategies across Diabetes, Obesity and Rare Diseases
- Designing engagement plans that reach beyond traditional HCP audiences to include Digital Opinion Leaders (DOLs), patients and wider stakeholder communities
- Crafting scientifically accurate, compliant and engaging medical content tailored to each digital channel and audience
- Partnering closely with Medical Advisors, Marketing, Market Access and Communications to ensure aligned, integrated omnichannel experiences
- Measuring channel performance, extracting insights and continuously optimising strategies based on data
- Staying ahead of digital health trends, new platforms and emerging best practices in medical communication
- Acting as a digital ambassador within Medical Affairs, building internal capabilities and inspiring a culture of innovation
Your new department
You will join our Medical Affairs Department, a multidisciplinary team that bridges science, strategy and stakeholder engagement across Diabetes, Obesity and Rare Diseases. We are a collaborative, curious group committed to ensuring that the best medical evidence reaches the right audiences – and we are now expanding our digital footprint to deliver greater impact for patients and healthcare communities.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a digitally-minded professional who is passionate about transforming how medical information is shared. To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A Medical degree (mandatory requirement)
- Advanced level of English, both written and spoken (mandatory requirement)
- Proven experience in Medical Affairs, ideally with exposure to digital, multichannel or omnichannel strategies in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong understanding of digital ecosystems, content strategy and engagement with Digital Opinion Leaders (DOLs), HCPs and patient communities
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution – able to translate vision into measurable plans
- Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix environment
- A curious, innovative mindset and genuine interest in Diabetes, Obesity and/or Rare Diseases
