Our state-of-the-art facility in Bloomington, Indiana provides a fully integrated model from process and formulation development to clinical and commercial biomanufacturing and drug product fill/finish and packaging. The Position
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain- Logistics will be responsible for leading the planning and coordination of all supply chain activities to ensure the timely and efficient production of pharmaceutical products, ensures strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges within the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions
- Possess a strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning tools
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to identify root causes of schedule deviations and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions
- Implement strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods while minimizing excess stock and reducing inventory risks
- Monitor and present monthly supply chain performance reports, including metrics such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence and forecast accuracy
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Regulatory teams to resolve supply chain issues and ensure material availability for production
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize planning processes, enhance supply chain efficiency, and reduce costs
- Develop strategies to mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, delays, and regulatory changes
- Monitor the external environment for potential impacts on the supply chain and adjust plans accordingly
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Supply Chain Warehouse team, providing guidance on best practices, process improvements, and career development
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team
- Develop and measure supply chain metrics that drive continuous improvement
- Prove timely, accurate data to support scenario planning, root cause analysis, and decision making
- Identify capacity/capability gaps in Supply Chain, establish metrics that support monitoring of the plan
- Support Supply Chain Directors in SQDC and other global forums
- Follow company policies, guidelines, and work instructions
- Direct responsibility over the Warehouse, Order Management, and Materials Control.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Ops Planning, Project Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Validation, Technical Services, Finance, Security, Legal, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance
- Coaches, mentors, and teaches employees, colleagues, and/or customers
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required

Background in Supply Chain, Warehouse or EH/S strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience required
- Related experience in a regulated industry preferred
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry, and GMPs, preferred
- Technical Requirements:
- Ability to use Excel, Word, and other Office systems
- Ability to attend training and apply learning on routine operation, maintenance, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines
- Ability to peer review data to ensure data is well organized with complete documentation
- Ability to provide ideas, introduce new technology, and drive process improvements
