The Position
In general, the position is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and administration of local and global policies and programs for staffing, employee relations, employee development and training, organizational development, regulatory compliance to meet the business strategies and customer requirements within the framework of the Company's overall corporate philosophy and policies, external laws, and regulations.
NOTE: This role works nights - Monday - Friday; 10PM - 6:30AM OR 11PM - 7:30AM
Essential Functions
- HR Business Partner Team
- Coach people leaders to ensure consistent handling, quality & execution timeliness for HR processes, including handling the following Employee Relations areas: current issues & solutions, change management & communications support, talent management, individual development plan execution, performance interventions, candidate selection recommendations, exit interviews & turnover analysis, new & revised job description process, investigations, and new leader orientation
- Creates and delivers training, and other presentations as appropriate
- Partner with leaders to manage organizational changes & to assist with future workforce planning needs
- Ensures implementation and utilization of policies, procedures, compensation and benefits, employee development and training, HR information systems, etc.
- Foster innovation & continuous improvement efforts, drive performance, and cross-collaboration
- Establishes and maintains an effective and credible relationship with both management and individual contributors; fosters open communication with all stakeholders
- Provide employee relations support by assisting Employee Relations (ER)/People & Organization (P&O) Leaders through gathering appropriate documentation to support investigations and providing performance management/employee relations guidance to managers
- Other duties as assigned
- Data Analytics Team
- Delivers the training of the site’s performance management program (PMP); coordinates all aspects of the performance management system and process, providing guidance to managers and employees on effective utilization of the process
- Culture & Employee Engagement Team
- Coordinates and assists with employee activities and communications
- Training & Development
- Coordinate and deliver training resulting from identified performance errors
- Facilitate cross-training within and across departments
- Create and design area training materials
Physical Requirements
100% work scheduled based on-site at Bloomington, Indiana facility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required and two (2) years broad and progressive experience in human resources, required
- In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, a high School diploma with a minimum of 10 years of experience, required
- PHR or SPHR certification, preferred
- Exposure to pharmaceutical or related technical industries, preferred
