Procurement Associate Professional

Based in Blida, with regular travel to Tizi Ouzou, this role offers a unique opportunity to make an impact while collaborating with cross-functional teams, within a company dedicated to supporting patients living with chronic diseases.
Your new role
In this role, you will support the Procurement & Sourcing Manager in delivering efficient, compliant, and best-practice procurement and sourcing activities for Novo Nordisk Manufacturing across the Boufarik and Tizi Ouzou sites. The role ensures robust procurement governance, effective contract management, strong stakeholder collaboration, and full compliance with company policies and local regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Main responsibilities include:
- Execute best-practice procurement and sourcing processes across both project sites.
- Draft, negotiate, finalize, and archive contracts while ensuring strong contract management practices.
- Maintain a structured overview of procurement status and ensure timely creation of Purchase Orders.
- Expedite vendors and contractors to secure on-time delivery, particularly for critical spare parts.
- Coordinate with Finance on vendor payments, banking, and tax-related matters, ensuring 100% on-time payments.
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders (WPOs and end users) to ensure accurate deliveries and goods receipt.
- Ensure full compliance with Novo Nordisk policies, responsible procurement standards, and local regulatory requirements.
Your Skills & Qualifications
We are expecting you to hold the below skills and knowledge:
- University degree in engineering or business or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar or related position, preferably in a multinational company.
- Good knowledge of international purchasing processes is mandatory.
- Broad knowledge and experience working in capital projects.
- Experience with driving contract and procurement processes.
- Experience with hands-on execution of project procurement tasks involving contracts and procurement systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to organize work based on priorities.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English & French.
- Good level of IT / computer literacy (Power point, Word, and Excel)
