Sr. Business Development Manager

The primary responsibility of this position will be to convert the business opportunity into Novo Nordisk China performance by setting & helping achieve the strategic goals. This will involve the complete range of commercial planning from market analysis to design and implementation of strategic cross-functional projects/ initiatives.

 

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Assist in strategy development, anchoring and follow-up on SVP business plans
  • Proactively analyse and drive internal business development opportunities
  • Provide data-driven, forward-looking assessments of business cases with focus on new product potential
  • Evaluate opportunities for collaboration with external alliance partners
  • Participate in relevant forums and meetings
  • Liaise with Communication department in ensuring consistent and strong internal communication
  • Various ad-hoc tasks

 

Requirement:

 

Detailed knowledge and understanding of Novo Nordisk business - ideally have 6-8 years’ experience within Novo Nordisk. Candidates who have worked in/with management team and bring rich cross-functional project management experience will have an advantage.

  • Ability to act strategically and agilely in accordance with the growth potential of China
  • Independently driving projects
  • Intercultural sensitivity and mastery of Novo Nordisk leadership competencies are expected
