The role

As a Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis and Treasury it will be your responsibility to ensure high quality and effective business planning processes in Region China in support of agile and effective resource allocation to strategic priorities as well as dynamic resource reallocation to cater for the dynamic market environment.

You are responsible for delivering excellent strategic scenario-based financial planning in support of business development opportunities as well as business cases.  Your team serve as Center of Excellence for the end to end forecasting process ensuring a solid and transparent sales forecasting in support of in-market execution as well as demand planning with high accuracy.

You are responsible for complete, good-quality and timely reporting based on effective performance controlling in line with management planning. You ensure effective risk management in Region China including solid scenario planning as well as definition of mitigating actions around key risks.

You ensure strong support of line of business with dedicated finance partnering and fact-based analysis and decision support based on solid understanding of Novo Nordisk business and commercial insights and you maintain an effective treasury function and also support Novo Nordisk group companies within China. 

About you

  • You have at least 10 years of relevant experience with a proven track record, ideally from a multinational company or big4
  • You have a relevant master's degree (i.e. in finance or economics) with master from a top university
  • You have people management experience and demonstrated ability to ability to develop and communicate a vision and engage people in that vision.
  • You have strong analytical skills, demonstrated ability to present complex business problems in a simple manner as well as a sound business mind-set.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of the Chinese language (written and spoken) is of advantage but not a pre-requisite.
