Senior Category Manager (PV & Clinical Service)

The position
1. Souring, build up sourcing tactical and supplier management process within responsible categories (PV & Clinical Service) 70%
a) Set up sourcing strategy process, procurement processes and technology for specific category, including opportunity identification, data analysis and strategy development (supplier& spend management), supplier evaluation /negotiation/contracting/management, purchase to pay processes and related product/service linkages.
b) Set up long-term and short-term Sourcing & Category strategies for respective department and monitor the implementation.
c) To seek synergies and saving potentials, drive the whole process from sourcing initiatives to tactical purchasing. For both existing and new categories, source potential suppliers so as to provide optimum quality/service and value to NN China.
2. Compliance/BE monitor and review 20%
a) Lead whole procurement team on benchmarking with peers to ensure NN’s procurement relevant BE policy is suitable.
b) Support category management team on auditing and monitoring the corrective actions of findings.
c) Prepare/review audit work papers/ that are accurate, complete, and consistent with auditing standards and record retention requirements: identify operational deficiencies or inconsistencies and support any required procedural changes.
3.Cross communication and influence 10%
a) Support on global project implementation.
b) Coordinator of China Procurement Group, incl. Tianjin, NNRCC, TW, HK, seeking for synergy and optimization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree and above;
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in procurement area, and 8 years above on sourcing area (incl. 3 years above on current position);
• Professional knowledge within Procurement field in Pharma industry;
• Category experience in PV and Clinical Service is preferrable;
• Experienced in leading sourcing project independently;
• Good project management skill, proactive with a sense of urgency;
• Strong ownership, flexible and able to work under pressure;
• Good communication skills;
• Fluency in both written & spoken English.
