The position

  • Apply digitalization and the tightening labor market insight to go beyond just creating HR strategy to also influencing organization wide strategy and advising the suite to prepare the organization for the future
  • Provide Peer-powered insights to work together with business to make the right decisions in a complex and uncertain business environment
  • Acts as a strategic and tactical business partner to the assigned business unit(s) to  facilitate the achievement of the business goals through all HR activities including: staffing; compensation and benefits; employee relations; and individual, team and organizational development.  Develops and implements the Novo Nordisk People Strategy within the assigned business units including the areas of developing and maintaining a winning culture, attraction and retention of the best talent, development of people, and increasing customer focus.  Also participates in other Novo Nordisk HR initiatives.
  • Through effective and efficient HR consultation and solutions to facilitate organization development and achieve its business targets.

 

Qualifications

 

  • A minimum of 10-12 years of progressively increasing HR experience with at least 4 years in a HR Generalist role. 
  • Demonstrated strategic ability with a passion for the business.
  • Demonstrated performance in consulting with line managers in matters relating to employee development, performance improvement and general HR related area.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate a vision and engage people in that vision.
  • Solid, working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and federal legislation related to employment practices and general HR administration.
  • Able to drive ambitious goals and become change agent
  • Able to coach and guide people development
  • Able to organise and work in a structured and systematic way
  • Possessed comprehensive knowledge in statutory benefits
  • Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Focused on simplicity with quality mindset
  • Able to establish trust and credibility in front of staff and leaders
  • Perform multi-tasks under pressure, result oriented and willing to get into details
  • Integrity and maintain confidentiality is a must   
  • Strong expertise and sensitivities in recruitment activities
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to solve problem
  • Strong analytical skills, strong interpersonal relationship management and communication skills.
  • Fluency in oral and written English
