Your new role

As our Digital Innovation Manager, you will play a central role in identifying, evaluating, and driving new business opportunities that support sustainable commercial growth. You will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Commercial, Market Access, Public Affairs, Medical, and field KAMs to unlock opportunities within private clinics, insurers, employers, and digital platforms.
You will be a key driver in building meaningful, value-added partnerships and in accelerating innovation through digital solutions, new engagement models, and commercial collaborations.


Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including outreach to private hospitals, private insurance funds, large employers, and other key ecosystem partners.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with e-commerce platforms and other digital collaborators. Develop and implement business growth strategies that strengthen our commercial presence.
  • Develop and maintain private clinic engagement strategies, coordinating closely with field KAM teams to ensure alignment and execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support digital marketing and commercial innovation projects and ensure seamless execution.
  • Conduct market research, analyse consumer trends, and explore potential industries to uncover commercial growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and business partners. Lead negotiations and secure agreements that expand Novo Nordisk’s reach and impact in Slovakia.

As part of a global company, you will collaborate closely with regional teams, affiliates, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful initiatives that support long-term strategic priorities.

Your skills & qualifications

To succeed in this role, you bring:

 

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Slovak is essential.
  • 2–3 years of experience in business development, digital innovation, marketing, or commercial roles.
  • Experience in campaigns or FMCG/OTC product activation.
  • Proven track record in media planning, digital content execution, and cross-channel activation campaigns.
  • Experience working with or managing pharmacies, including pharmacy engagement strategies or pharmacy-driven activations.
  • Experience coordinating consumer-facing digital solutions (apps, websites, platforms) with a strong focus on user acquisition and retention.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, especially with Marketing, Medical, Market Access, and Public Affairs.
  • Experience in patient journey mapping, chronic disease management (obesity, diabetes), or healthcare ecosystem navigation is considered a plus.
