This position directly reports to Head of Public Affairs & Sustainability.
The position
In this role, you will oversee the development and execution of strategies to enhance patient engagement, advocacy, and sustainable healthcare initiatives, with a focus on strengthening relationships with patient organizations, key stakeholders, and policymakers to drive improved patient access to innovative treatments. The main scope of accountabilities includes, but is not limited to:
- Patient Relations & Advocacy: Develop and implement patient engagement strategies to enhance advocacy and access to treatment. Build and maintain relationships with patient organizations, advocacy groups, and key stakeholders. Lead initiatives to raise disease awareness and reduce stigma through patient-centric campaigns.
- Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Drive Novo Nordisk’s sustainability initiatives in Thailand, aligning with global and regional sustainability goals. Partner with public and private organizations to promote sustainable healthcare access and environmental responsibility.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Policy Advocacy: Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, government bodies, NGOs, and key decision-makers. Monitor and analyse healthcare policies and regulatory trends impacting patient access and sustainability.
- Project execution & internal collaboration management: Lead and manage multiple projects related to patient relations, advocacy, and sustainability. Develop clear project plans, define objectives, and establish timelines and key deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Public Health, Pharmacy or related fields.
- Experience in patient advocacy, public affairs, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, sales, or medical representative roles within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or NGO sectors is a plus but not required.
- Strong understanding of healthcare policies, patient access challenges, and sustainability trends.
- Experience in working with patient organizations, healthcare professionals, government agencies, and external stakeholders is an advantage.
- Thai native speaking is required with good English communication.
