 Your new role

 

As Medical Affairs Manager for Cardio-Kidney-Metabolic (CKM), you'll manage and develop a team of 3 Therapy Area Medical Advisors and 1 Medical Information Specialist to implement medical strategy aligned with our affiliate business objectives. This is your opportunity to drive meaningful impact in a rapidly evolving therapeutic area that addresses some of the most pressing health challenges in Thailand.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

- Leading and developing a high-performing medical team by driving the 5 focus areas of medical affairs – insights for strategy, evidence generation, scientific dialogue, clinical care pathways, and organizational readiness

- Setting clear goals, conducting performance dialogues, providing timely feedback, and delivering structured coaching sessions to build capability across your team

- Liaising with the field medical team to drive medical affairs strategy and ensure one unified medical voice while creating business synergies

- Coordinating affiliate medical strategy across products and therapy areas to deliver fair, balanced scientific messages to the medical community that support appropriate use of Novo Nordisk's products

- Managing and allocating team budgets aligned with affiliate business strategy, tracking expenditure in partnership with Finance

- Building and strengthening professional relationships with Healthcare Professional Associations and key opinion leaders to expand collaboration opportunities

- Exploring innovation and digitalization in medical tactics through engagement with internal and external stakeholders

Novo Nordisk has been working closely with stakeholders in Thailand for more than 40 years. Our Medical Affairs team plays a critical role in defeating diabetes, obesity, and other serious chronic diseases by bridging scientific evidence with clinical practice. This position reports directly to the Associate Director, Medical & Regulatory, and sits at the heart of how we bring innovation to the Thai healthcare community with integrity and scientific rigor.

 

 Your skills & qualifications

 

We're looking for an experienced medical affairs professional who thrives in leading teams and shaping scientific strategy. You'll bring:

 

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy, Healthcare, or related fields

- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical industry

- People management experience, with a track record of developing high-performing teams is a plus

- Strong knowledge of the Thai pharmaceutical industry, regulatory environment, and healthcare landscape

- Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written

- Ability to build trusted relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals
