The position
The Field Medical Advisor will be the key scientific liaison between Novo Nordisk and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in relevant therapy areas. This role will report to the Field Medical Advisor Manager. The main scope of accountabilities includes but is not limited to:

  • Collaborate with office-based medical affairs colleagues to identify the scientific knowledge among key internal and external stakeholders, aligning with business needs, and improving patient outcomes.
  • Initiate and execute education and training across business area functions to the external customers, healthcare professionals, local opinion makers and internal stakeholders (where appropriate). Also, lead and execute Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) interaction plans locally for gaining insights from the field visits and provide written reports to Field Medical Advisor Manager. 
  • Accountable for the key external stakeholders’ relationship, knowledge on relevant data and scientific exchange. Actively collaborate with medical affair colleagues on identifying potential KOLs, Key Scientific Leaders (KSLs), speakers and investigators.
  • Key contributor and facilitator for the development of symposia/meetings or education seminars for health care providers on subjects relevant to NN products/projects and delivering presentations at local meetings, symposia and external conferences through multi/omnichannel platforms.
  • Key contributor to develop and execute medico-marketing strategy, along with providing support for local business plans to promote the achievement of targets, alignment of cross-functional business activities while ensuring compliance with the country-specific regulatory requirements and relevant legislation.  

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or related fields with about 1-2 years of experience in a health-related system, pharmaceutical company, or managed care environment. Preferably demonstrated success in a Medical Affairs role (medical scientific area). 
  • Strong communication skills, strong knowledge of the relevant therapeutic area preferred. Position requires travel and flexible working hours. 
  • Demonstrates high subject matter knowledge. Also, develops strong & meaningful relationships with internal (cross-functional colleagues) & external stakeholders (KOLs & HCPs)
  • Thai native speaking is required with good communication in English.
