The Position

As a Web Experience & Social media Lead you will be developing and implementing Novo Nordisk Web & Social Media strategy to increase our Digital/online presence and amplify our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with Marketing, Sales, CRM, Medical & MCE team to ensure the HCP Portal continues to deliver high volumes of qualified leads to support our sales organization. You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the overarching strategic vision (strategy, roadmap, and requirements) of all major web & social media projects spanning design, development, and optimization.
  • Collaborating with marketing & MCE (Multi-channel engagement) team to create detailed Web & social media plans, keeps internal team apprised of status on all campaigns by issuing timely and accurate documentation and correspondence.
  • Developing scalable and sustainable web & social media operations and project management, set priorities, and effectively leverage available resources to drive business impacting results.
  • Developing keen understanding of HCPs (Healthcare professionals) & Patient with Social listening, Survey and develop their digital journeys, enable vertically and contextually optimized and personalized experiences.
  • Amplify Novo Nordisk presence across all social channels - Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.



  • 5 – 7 years’ experience driving Web & social media strategy for brand/Therapy awareness and impressions with deep understanding of web & Social media analytics.
  • Master’s degree in marketing or related fields.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram Google+ and other social with deep understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and web traffic metrics (Including delivery of outstanding organic search performance).
  • Pharmaceutical Industry experience is a plus, yet candidates from other industries welcome.
  • Experience managing a web & social media agency required.


About the department

Novo Nordisk India affiliate office is in Bangalore & has more than 1,400 people working across the country in various functions. Customer Engagement team works closely with all the business units to develop a Data Driven Mindset, drive Customer Intimacy and Multichannel Engagement.

Web Experience & Social Media Lead position is based in Bengaluru and reports to the MCE Manager.
