We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned Technical Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a pivotal role in defining the strategic direction of the CMS platform (EasyBrief2) and providing technical expertise to the Production team to ensure its alignment with the long-term business goals and objectives. This individual will be responsible for pivotal decisions regarding the platform's future developments and releases, steering it towards becoming a more user-centric and business-aligned solution.

 

The position

As a Technical Lead at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for:

  • Define and drive the strategic direction for the CMS platform (EasyBrief2), ensuring its alignment with the business's long-term goals and objectives

  • Build, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, build roadmap, and handle risks and dependencies to other teams in the organization.

  • Providing technical guidance and support to the developers and Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

  • Identify and resolve technical debt and performance issues. Organize training sessions for affiliates and third-party agencies on new CMS platform features, and conduct refresher courses as necessary.

  • Act as a liaison between Project Managers, the CMS platform team, affiliates, and the development team to ensure the platform's features and enhancements meet the needs of the business and its users, resulting in a more user-centric and business-aligned platform.

  • Coordinate meetings with the platform team for status updates and release planning. Address platform-related questions and queries from affiliates, work with external and internal production teams to resolve them and create and maintain documentation related to the platform.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree (within business, science or engineering) with results in top 10% or other relevant business experience.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Lead, Architect, Sr Developer, or IT manager.

  • Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

  • Good knowledge of Node.js and its frameworks such as Express, etc.

  • Proven experience in a technical lead, Technical project management, or product owner role.

  • Experience/technical knowledge working with low/no code technology.

  • Experience in application, platform, or infrastructure operations and vendor management.

  • Strong understanding of software development and agile methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and in a cross-cultural, global environment.

  • Experience in conducting training sessions and creating documentation.

  • Familiarity with platforms similar to Veeva Vault is an advantage.

 

About the department

The Commercial, Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning, and Commercial Operations. The unit also supports BioPharma global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders.
