About the Department
Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) is a team of 700+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. The main role of DD&IT India is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management. Cross DD&IT Technologies is an integral part of the DD&IT and is responsible for managing development, support and maintenance processes for Analytics, Integration, Data management and Automation solutions for all Regions in Novo Nordisk.
The Position
As SAP Integration PM/Lead, you will be working closely with the overall S/4 responsible in the upcoming S/4 HANA migration project. You will be responsible for reporting to the overall S/4 integration and work planning, follow-up and day-to-day sparring for the integration team developers and the system manager in the team. Your other primary responsibility will be:
- Partner with appropriate resources to provide/complete required project documentation (process flows, gap analysis, procedures). Mitigate risks as defined in project plan, Monitor delivery performance and quality using metrics and status reporting.
- Define project scope with key stakeholders and effectively manage milestones and dependencies. Align with system integrator(SI) who will also have a lead on the task. This requires the ability both to be pragmatic and listen to what the SI suggest, but also to challenge the SI where relevant and escalate to the overall integration responsible.
- Ensure technical coordination with relevant system managers and developers from other systems (functional SME’s will also have a big role in facilitating the contact, but direct coordination will be needed also).
- Understand technical integration, cloud, and API technologies so decisions can be made on project plan requirements. Drive that we get a good and comprehensive interface overview and ensure that relevant repositories (e.g. ServiceNow) are updated. Transfer this to maintenance after go-live.
Additionally, you will be expected to establish an excellent relationship with Key stakeholders. You will ensure that IT security and compliance requirements of Novo Nordisk is adhered and address any issues and queries to the relevant IT Security and Compliance teams.
Qualification
- Computer Science Master or bachelor’s degree or comparable degree in IT or relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration).
- 8+ years of relevant experience in SAP project management and delivery management especially into implementation or integration is highly desirable.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of product development and product lifecycles.
- Very strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work with best practices.
- Self-managed with a positive outlook, strong personal drive, and leadership skills.
- Must have handled, worked, and collaborated for driving organizational strategies, and delivery excellence.
- Excellent writing, verbal, presentation, communication, and consensus building skills. You must have high cultural sensitivity and ability to work across cultures. Above all you have passion for excellence with a concise, precise, and effective approach to problem solving and decision making.
