About the Department

GBS (Global Business Service) Consulting transition team is responsible to execute on the GBS hub network priorities to expand footprint of GBS across select locations across the globe. Being part of this team provides a unique opportunity for high visibility and growth and an opportunity to work with senior stakeholders across Novo Nordisk. We Leverage expertise in transitions,  project management, stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking to make a tangible impact on our operations. With a focus on customer-centric solutions.

 

The Position

As a Senior Project Manager for Enabling Support & Business case Consulting professional, you will:

 

  • Have an in-depth understanding of developing and managing a business case including project purpose, risk and benefits, costs, investments and other commercial aspects, comparison of options, timescales, impacts on operations, payback periods etc
  • Demonstrate experience of developing and managing business cases
  • Assist with presentations, reports and excels to support the design and transition as required.
  • Be a project SPOC for seamless vendor onboarding, payment processing, support function readiness, ensure legal entity and compliance readiness for GBS and work with internal teams ensuring readiness in terms of IT system implementations, IT hardware and physical infrastructure.
  • Work with the finance controller to build project budgeting, Work with the corporate treasury to request for fund infusions before the support functions go-live, Ensure the forecasts are up to date and track availability of project resources and workload.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

 

  • Academic degree – Bachelor’s degree and MBA/PGDM from Tier-1 B school.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • CA is a plus.
  • Six Sigma Green belt/Black belt is a plus.
  • Minimum 8 yr. of experience of professional experience.
  • Experience in implementation of GBS/GCC/Shared service centres.
  • Experience of working in reputable management consulting firms in GBS/GCC/Shared services space.
  • Ability to drive large scale global role transitions.
  • Familiarity with driving GBS transformation projects - continuous improvement and process automation.
  • Solid experience and demonstrable track record in project management, including the ability to work with discipline and structure, delivering on time and in
  • Detail-oriented and with focus on quality in processes and deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good writing skills; ability to communicate clearly and to the point.
