We are looking for a Sr. Associate Creative Designer in Commercial & Corporate Affairs – Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore, India. You can look forward to an exciting job driving different projects and engaging with multiple stakeholders at different levels.


The position

As a Sr. Associate Creative Designer, you are responsible for developing technically accurate, high quality and corporate visual identity compliant materials for internal and external brand communication. You develop content for communication of globally renowned brands of Novo Nordisk, develop and maintain creative branded content to be used in Brand Portal, Exwebsites & Veeva portal (an internal web portal of Novo Nordisk) which will be accessed by affiliates across the world. Create innovative infographics, brochures based on interpretation of data and analytics.

You create / format PowerPoint, Word, Excel, PDF documents used for internal and external brand communication based on inputs from Global Marketing team & Affiliates, ensure delivery of digital materials to global/affiliate customers within agreed timelines, develop and maintain creative branded content for webpages, newsletters and symposiums, create brochures, infographic reports, posters and presentations for a range of internal and external brand communication based on inputs from Global Marketing team & Affiliates.


You create 3D models, animation and textures using computer graphics software, you communicate effectively and set expectation with the Team Leader and Global Marketing teams with regard to expected quality and timelines on delivery, evaluate and recommend new methods, materials and equipment for use in graphic designing. You follow standards and guidelines for consistent corporate visual identity, create UI/UX website templates for affiliates website request across the world, you will be working on AEM environment to support web production.


Content Hub is a new service within NN and has been established to enable the delivery of a future global multichannel vision. The service has therefore not achieved steady-state and extreme and constant change will be a feature of this role in the initial years. Many stakeholders will welcome the change; others may not, so there is some potential for interpersonal challenge, as a result of change, in this role.


The role holder must thus identifies problems and significantly improve, change, or adapt existing methods and techniques drawing from personal experiences and feedback, takes initiative and drive solution finding to complex problems that arise, independently plan and follow up on execution, project progress and evaluation of needed resources.



You need to have the below knowledge and skills

Bachelor’s Degree in science / arts.

Graphical design background with a solid understanding of brand communication preferably in healthcare/pharma industry

Prior experience in graphic designing, in medical communications / pharmaceutical industry is preferable.

Minimum of 3-5 years of graphical design experience required.

A background in designing for brand communication (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry) is preferred

Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe CC 2020) including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

Scanning and digital photography, video making & editing experience helpful

Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities. Effectively follow review/approval process to obtain approvals and signatures for projects

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

Collaborative skills to work closely with internal team and Global Marketing

Great progress reporting skills at every stage of the design process.

Methodical approach to archiving images and artwork

Demonstrate capability to take ownership and accountability of deliverables assigned and deliver within tight deadlines

A strong desire to learn and progress within the team

Strong attention to detail and an unwavering ability to comply with Corporate Visual Identity

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships and effectively influence all levels of the business

Ability to naturally assume ownership of initiatives, requiring minimal supervision to consistently deliver outstanding results

High degree of flexibility, and can shoulder additional workload for a longer period when required


About the department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs – Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. The Commercial & Corporate Affairs unit also supports Biopharm global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders. In Obesity Commercial Unit, we are focused on changing the way obesity is viewed and treated today, as well as increasing number of people who receive innovative treatments and quality care.  In addition to driving innovative market development and communication efforts, the unit is responsible for the global commercialization and optimization of Saxenda® and Obesity & NASH pipelines.
