The position

As a People Manager, you will:

• Lead the operation management of a portfolio of IT systems, ensuring alignment with business owners, product managers, and vendors.
• Oversee systems such as Degreed, Perceptyx, EHS, Permit Vision, Safety Engine, and other critical platforms in the Global People , Organization & Corporate Affairs portfolio
• Manage people’s responsibilities, including hiring, onboarding, talent retention, coaching, mentoring, and fostering an agile DevOps mindset.
• Drive rewards and performance management, budgeting, and cross-organizational knowledge sharing.
• Support transformation and transition initiatives, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Facilitate communication and stakeholder interaction across global locations, including Denmark, the US, and India.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and innovation in IT systems management.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Master’s or Graduate degree in relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration)
• 10+ years of experience in IT with a minimum of 3+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience
• Experience in managing Business critical systems/ cloud- based applications
• We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and vendor management.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring teams to build personal and professional competencies
• An inclusive mindset and respect for diversity.

You will be part of Digital Solutions, a diverse and international team within Global POCA Services and Operations. Based in Bangalore, India, at Novo Nordisk Global Business Services (GBS), the team operates in a fast-paced and innovative environment. We manage digital products to deliver value to stakeholders and work closely with cross-functional teams to address key business objectives and processes. Together, we strive to make a meaningful impact on Novo Nordisk’s Diabetes and Obesity products and the patients we serve.
