Team: Global Market Access and Pricing – Diabetes& Access, Product & Portfolio Strategy

Location: Bangalore, Novo Nordisk Global Business Services (GBS), India

Shape the pricing strategies that bring life-changing therapies to millions. In this role, you'll turn complex global pricing dynamics into clear, senior-ready recommendations that influence how Novo Nordisk launches, invests, and grows across therapy areas.

Your new role
As Senior Global Pricing Lead, you will drive pricing strategy, guidance, and forecast development for an assigned therapy area or brand – from insight generation to operational execution. You'll represent the pricing perspective in cross-functional discussions, balancing access ambition with evidence, compliance, and business considerations, and ensuring our pricing approach is aligned with market access, clinical, and commercial priorities.

Day-to-day your tasks will include:

  • Leading the pricing insight generation workstream for your assigned TA/brand, including analysis plans, timelines, and deliverable cadence across stakeholders
  • Driving operational pricing to maximise business opportunities, including price business cases and launch sequence decisions
  • Aligning pricing activities to strategy, clinical profile and competitive environment in close collaboration with Market Access, Commercial, NAO/IO and regional counterparts
  • Monitoring IRP, parallel trade, LoE and competitor dynamics, leading scenario planning and drafting recommendations
  • Providing senior-ready recommendations and updates to leadership forums, including the Global Pricing Team (GPT) governance
  • Identifying high-impact process improvements and implementing scalable solutions for recurring analyses and reporting
  • Mentoring junior and mid-level colleagues and contributing to the functional elevation of pricing and market access through new methodologies, standards and frameworks

Your new department
In Product & Portfolio Strategy we drive commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across all therapy areas. We act as a connector and compass, guiding the new Novo Nordisk portfolio for sustained competitiveness upstream, and maximising portfolio potential through successful commercial strategies and competitive launches downstream.
Within P&PS, you will join the Global Market Access & Pricing team in GBS – a globally connected group responsible for shaping how Novo Nordisk's portfolio is priced and accessed across markets. We work at the intersection of strategy, evidence and payer insight, partnering closely with regions, affiliates and senior leadership to ensure our therapies reach the patients who need them most. Expect a high-performance, collaborative environment where your work has direct impact on global decision-making.

Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for an experienced pricing professional who thrives in a complex, global environment and enjoys translating analysis into strategy. You'll bring with you:

  • A Master's degree or higher in Health Economics, Public Health, Pharmacy, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, or a closely related quantitative/health discipline
  • Approximately 7–10+ years of relevant experience in pricing, market access, consulting, or pharmaceutical strategy roles, including significant exposure to pricing strategy, fore-casting and decision support
  • Deep expertise in pricing analytics, research and insights, with a strong understanding of global pricing dynamics (MFN, IRP, LoE, parallel trade) and the ability to integrate multiple data sources into coherent insights
  • Proven strategic and analytical thinking – connecting insights to business outcomes, evaluating trade-offs, and developing structured approaches in ambiguous situations
  • Strong stakeholder management and storytelling skills, with the confidence to influence cross-functional and senior audiences in governance forums
  • Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end workstreams, project leadership and experience mentoring junior colleagues
  • Fluency in English; willingness to travel internationally up to 5%
