The position 

As a SAP security/Authorisation Product Owner at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for :

  • Design and implement SAP authorisation solutions in Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and across Logistics areas.
  • Engage with technical and compliance SMEs, Business Stakeholders, and vendors to drive the product vision and implementation roadmap for SAP Authorisation in S4 HANA
  • Streamline the role management process within the SAP Authorization context.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand key drivers for deliveries and enable ongoing prioritization.
  • Lead the agile team’s participation in system demos and participate in the ART sync to clarify dependencies.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of SAP development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP Authorization design and implementations.
  • Experience in SAP ECC/S4 HANA Authorisation and security project implementations.
  • Good exposure to S4 HANA, ECC to S4 HANA migration experience is a plus.
  • SAP Authorisation implementation for a Pharma client in the past is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of information security management principles, SAP application Authorisation implementation, and role-based access design.
  • Experience in SAP audit security, compliance projects such as SOD remediation, SOX, and ITGC.
  • Experience in leading a team of experienced SAP developers in an agile or non-agile context.
  • Basic knowledge of Agile principles, methodology, and events.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.

 

About the department

Cross DD&IT Technologies is the unit which is responsible for more than 40 global IT systems at Novo Nordisk including the operation, maintenance, support and development of these systems. The systems are used on a global scale by all areas of the business from R&D to Sales and are critical to the execution of key business processes such as development, manufacturing, sales, finance, etc. 

 

The Novo Nordisk SAP Authorisation CoE will help provide security implementations to Product Supply, R&D, Finance and HR working across SAP application areas such as FI, HR, WM, MM, SRM, ATTP, PPPI, WM Log, PM, QM Calib. GBT, APO, SD etc. handling some of the most Financial or GxP critical IT processes in Novo Nordisk. It will also play a key role in design and implementation of S4 security within the NN SAP landscape.
