About the Department

Digital, Data & IT India is a team of 900+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. Our department manages IT, including system management, project management, infrastructure management, compliance management, security management, process management, and vendor management. As part of the Cross-IT department, you will be responsible for managing development, support, and maintenance processes for analytics, integration, data management, and automation solutions for all regions in Novo Nordisk.

The Position 

As a ServiceNow Developer at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, enabling, and testing new functionalities on the ServiceNow platform, including customizing, configuring, and setting up workflows.
  • Designing, implementing, and optimizing processes within ServiceNow and end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow modules for different business areas.
  • Establishing and building integration technology to integrate different tools/platforms with vendors and communication with stakeholders across different areas within NovoNordisk.
  • Owning the change development and implementation process for ServiceNow.
  • Supporting daily operations and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.

Qualifications 

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor’s or similar graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in the IT industry or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of experience maintaining ITSM applications, ideally on ServiceNow or AskHR module.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is nice to have.
  • A fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL, or CMDB.
