About the department

The Global IT Organisation in Novo Nordisk consolidates all Information Technology (IT) functions anchored locally across the Novo Nordisk Executive Vice President (EVP) areas and the IT functions driven centrally, e.g. IT infrastructure & support, information security and system management. Global IT Operations (GITO) delivers services in the areas of core Infrastructure and Service management on Novo Nordisk global network. The Digital Workplace APAC department is a self-propelled unit working in an agile setup with globally product teams. The team constitutes of experienced Digital Collaborations and platform Architect, Product Owners, Service Managers, Technical and Business Analysts.

 

The position

You are entrusted to manage the life cycle management process for servers, storage, operating systems, databases, virtualisation, data centre and cloud computing components etc., Additionally you will be end to end responsible for GISP(Global Infrastructure standardisation programme) service management, GISPPO mailbox management and  coordination of GISP requests, risk management and IT compliance.

 

Further, you are involved in integrating and communicating with all necessary parties such as IT infrastructure, stakeholders, vendors, customers to coordinate services delivery, facilitate and establish LCM sessions to ensure high degree of knowledge sharing and we expect you to have specialist knowledge about ITIL and configuration management process. You must have a  solid understanding of IT risk management and IT compliance.

 

Additionally, you demonstrate ability to identify better practice and create improvements in methods, techniques and approaches. You will be responsible in managing different stakeholders at all levels and you must have an ability to present complex solutions/information to key decision makers.

 

Qualification

Below skills are required to have

  • Bachelor or similar graduate degree field in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration combined with additional relevant IT and business experience
  • 6-8 years of experience in IT system/service management
  • 3 years of technical management experience from an international service provider or consultancy firm
  • Should have experience in managing ITIL process in Service Delivery and Capacity planning
  • IT infrastructure Life Cycle management experience
  • Basic knowledge on IT security elements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with external parties, primarily with GITO, LoB IT organisations and users.
  • Ability to represent Novo Nordisk in relations with users and external stakeholders
  • Good to have experience from working in a large global complex organisation is an advantage
