Service Manager – Monitoring for Corp Infrastructure APAC

About the department


The position is based in Global IT India and in the area Global IT Operations and where we manage our infrastructure and digital workplace services. All our services are delivered according to the SAFe framework with global agile product teams. The team consists of architects, service managers and operations specialists all working together to achieve the product objectives.


The Position


As Service Manager for the monitoring services you will be responsible for the operations and management, including:

Overall responsible for the daily operation of the service e.g. APIs and dashboards from Splunk, AppDynamics and NextThink

Follow up on incidents, problems, and changes

Vendor and SLA management

Service budgets

Responsible for continues service improvements

Proactively engage with stakeholders globally 

Ensuring compliance with quality and security standards





We ideally expect you to hold a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer science (or equivalent), ITIL Foundation Certified


Preferred Skills:


  • 5+ years of previous experience in IT service management role. Strong ITIL knowledge, training and experience is preferred.
  • 2+ years in handling budgets
  • Understands Infrastructure concepts and environments
  • Experience with working with Agile framework
  • Has experience in a large corporate/ IT support agency, from which he/ she knows how a complex IT organization works, what processes shall be in place, how IT components and systems are connected.


Good to have:


  • 2+ years in application performance monitoring services
  • Technical knowledge or background is highly appreciated, especially if the person knows Power shell, Java or Python.
  • Familiar with Application Performance Monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Nexthink is a big advantage but not a requirement.
