The position

As a Senior Project Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will drive transformation projects across FP&A, especially managing the solutioning, project planning and tracking of operational excellence project. You will also have the opportunity to:

  • Monitor Project Progress and draw a clear Roadmap with deadlines along with senior stakeholder management at all organisational levels.
  • Drive end to end project management and ensure project is within timelines & output with high quality.
  • Plan and conduct regular meetings with team, leads and stakeholders for business know-how, especially an understanding of how each project affects the business' short and long-term Strategy.
  • Work in great collaboration with FP&A management and other Finance Departments along with good understanding of all the key towers i.e IO, CFP & PSQIT
  • Adhere to Corporate Policies, NN essentials and Procedures, including Code of Conduct, Audit Procedures and any control related responsibility for financial data entered, stored, or reported via business systems within employees’ control and NN templates are maintained.
  • Manage the key project in FP&A Finance : BI pipeline for 2024 - prioritization ,development ,testing and governance with central haystack , BI , IO and GBS team.

 

Qualifications

  • Relevant academic background at minimum Masters’ level within Business or Finance.
  • 8-10 Years of experience in Finance Domain with an experience from an international work environment.
  • Strong Project Management skills and experience – proven track record in supporting operational excellence, process efficiency and lean projects.
  • Relevant experience with handling finance projects.
  • Self-driven and dedicated/desire to influence.
  • Drive project problem solving, including defining and clarifying problems, structuring, and prioritizing issues, identifying analyses and approach, and developing recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, and clearly spoken English with no mother tongue influence.
  • Highly self-motivated to work independently, within delegated authority, with minimal or no supervision.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team, and a clear understanding of how assigned responsibilities impact other processes and the work of other people.

 

About the department

You will join our Global Finance GBS Bangalore team, which has been supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for Headquarters, North America, International Operations (IO), Product Supply & GBS Bangalore since 2007. Our team’s main purpose is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.
