The position

As a Senior Project Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Incentive Compensation Program Management Office (PMO) Lead to manage a large-scale global incentive compensation program. The PMO will play a critical role in driving the success of the incentive compensation program and contributing to the organization's long-term strategic objectives. The individual should be adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrating resilience and the ability to navigate and resolve complex challenges, particularly related to incentive compensation program management. This individual will work closely with delivery leaders and their respective teams, as well as engaging with stakeholders across 30 affiliates in three different regions

Program Oversight: Lead the overall program management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives, with a specific focus on incentive compensation program expertise. Develop and maintain program governance structures, processes, and methodologies tailored to incentive compensation programs. Monitor program performance and manage program risks and issues effectively, particularly related to incentive compensation structures and processes.

  • Project Management Expertise a strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques is essential. Proficiency in program governance, risk management, and performance monitoring is crucial.

  • Stakeholder Engagement Engage with stakeholders across 30 affiliates in three different regions to understand their incentive compensation needs and ensure their requirements are met. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on incentive compensation program objectives. Act as a liaison between the program team and the diverse group of stakeholders, understanding their unique incentive compensation requirements and expectations.

  • Transition Management: Oversee the successful transition of the program to an in-house team, working closely with the transition manager to ensure a smooth handover, particularly related to incentive compensation processes and systems. Drive change management activities to support the transition and ensure minimal disruption to program operations, with a specific focus on incentive compensation process continuity and improvement.

  • Collaborate with the global program manager and change manager to ensure a holistic approach to the transition and change management process, paying particular attention to incentive compensation structures and processes.

  • Contribution to IC Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE): Contribute to the planning and establishment of the IC Analytics CoE, working with relevant stakeholders to understand the requirements and objectives of incentive compensation analytics and reporting. Collaborate with the global program manager and other relevant stakeholders to align the program's activities with the future needs and goals of the Analytics CoE, particularly related to incentive compensation data and reporting requirements. Ensure that the program's data and reporting requirements align with the future capabilities and objectives of the Analytics CoE, with a specific emphasis on incentive compensation analytics and reporting.

  • Incentive Compensation Expertise: Bring deep expertise in incentive compensation program design, implementation, and management, ensuring that the program aligns with best practices and industry standards. Drive the development and enhancement of incentive compensation processes, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with finance, HR, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that incentive compensation programs support organizational goals and drive performance.

  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present regular program status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and action plans, with a specific focus on incentive compensation metrics and outcomes. Facilitate open communication channels within the program team and with stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment, particularly related to incentive compensation program updates and performance. Develop a communication strategy to effectively disseminate incentive compensation program updates and progress to all relevant stakeholders. 

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, finance, or a related field. Project management certifications are a plus.

  • Proven experience in program management, with a focus on incentive compensation programs, global programs, and cross-functional teams.

  • Strong understanding of incentive compensation program design, implementation, and management, with expertise in incentive compensation analytics and reporting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Change management expertise, with a track record of successfully managing transitions and driving organisational change.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving program goals.

  • Experience in working with a diverse, globally dispersed team and stakeholders, understanding cultural nuances and adapting management approaches accordingly.

  • Cross function collaboration, collaborate on cross-function workstreams, ensuring alignment and integration with other key initiatives across commercial analytics function.

  • Actively participate in Frontline Excellence, contributing to the enhancement of operational effectiveness and excellence within the broader context of commercial analytics.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with three delivery leaders and their teams, providing guidance and support to ensure effective program delivery, with a strong emphasis on incentive compensation design and implementation.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the program teams, specifically related to incentive compensation processes and calculations.

  • Coordinate across the three delivery leader teams to ensure consistency and alignment in program execution across different regions and affiliates, with a focus on incentive compensation best practices.

Finance Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore was established in 2007 and is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Commercial Analytics, Financial Planning & Analytics for Head Quarters at Denmark, Region Europe, North America, International Operations & Global Service Centre Bangalore.
