The Position

As a Senior Manager of Strategy & Business Intelligence at Novo Nordisk, your main responsibility will be to develop and implement corporate and brand strategies, as well as other business development initiatives, to achieve maximum commercial effectiveness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Commercial Affairs & Strategy (CAS), Finance, Zone, Business Units (Bus), People & Operations (P&O), and Medical to support various functions throughout the strategy development process. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing mentoring and coaching to the Strategy & BI team.

 You will further have the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct robust analysis and develop business plans to support critical business decisions.

  • Manage affiliate pricing and pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness in the market.

  • Oversee market research projects and collaborate with external vendors to provide insights and analysis to the affiliate management team.

  • Work closely with management during business review meetings and deliver management reports.

  • Manage special projects based on organizational needs, such as IEE, Torrent production project, and low-cost durable device project.

  • Maximize commercial effectiveness by implementing tools and processes.

  • Monitor and support best-in-class performance in Novo Nordisk India.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Post Graduate degree in Business Management preferably from Tier1Tier2 Institutes, analytics is preferred.

  • English proficiency, both written and spoken.

  • 6-10 years of experience in sales support, business development, or marketing within the pharma industry.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial position is preferred.

  • Knowledge of pricing strategies and market research methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in project management and managing special projects.

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

 

About the department

The Sr Manager Strategy & Business Intelligence will be part of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) department. Our department is responsible for driving the development and implementation of corporate and brand strategies to maximize commercial effectiveness. We work closely with cross-functional teams to support various functions throughout the strategy development process.
