The position
As a Sarbox Compliance Specialist, you will:
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements. Work closely with vendors, system management teams, advisory functions, and auditors to provide necessary documentation and support.
- Lead Sarbox audits and serve as the key auditee from the SAP ECC end. Successfully close audit findings and ensure business continuity in compliance.
- Present to auditors, design controls, and ensure timely execution. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in SAP operations from a risk perspective.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP control procedures and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, auditors, and functional teams to understand requirements and mitigate gaps.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following:
- Computer Science master’s or bachelor’s degree or comparable degree in IT or relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration).
- 12+ years of relevant domain knowledge within IT. 4+ years of relevant experience in Sarbox Compliance and Audit. Strong proven experience in facing and handling Sarbox/ Financial audits. Strong knowledge on Compliance.
- SAP ERP system/service management is needed. Overall exposure to SAP Securities can be good.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with external parties.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyse and provide guidance and coordinate with Agile teams, external auditors, LoB (line of business) etc.
