About the department
The People and Organization (P&O) function at Novo Nordisk designs strategies for Recruitment, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, Mobility, Reporting, and Analytics. Within this function, the Global Business Services (GBS) People Operations (PO) department, based in Bangalore, plays a critical role in supporting the global P&O team to achieve its strategic goals. The position
As a Sr. HR Professional at Novo Nordisk, you will:
Drives departmental and team initiatives in the absence of the leader by preparing and maintaining work instructions and SOPs, ensuring process consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement. Collaborates with team members and stakeholders across GBS, actively participates in projects and engagement activities, handles queries efficiently, and joins regular meetings to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Handle hire-to-retire AskHR requests in a timely manner with high quality. Demonstrate expertise in the functionality of HR tools and applications.
• Ensure and maintain the security and confidentiality of employee data.
• Adhere to daily targets and quality KPIs, ensuring compliance with right first-time principles.
• Perform day-to-day activities according to defined KPIs and Work Instructions, following internal guidelines and policies. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to enhancing operational efficiency.
• Coach and mentor new team members, fostering their development. Create and maintain Work Instructions and relevant process-related documents.
Qualifications
• Relevant academic degree at minimum bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, etc.).
• 5 + years of relevant experience preferably in an international HR Shared Service Centre.
• Hands on Experience in ERP system (SAP HR & EC) OR Workday as an end user on Org Management and Position Management & Employee Profiles.
• Preferably experience with SAP HR, EC and ServiceNow.
• Be able to work independently with no supervision.
• Effective and affirmative communication.
• Have a relatively high stress threshold and possess the ability to handle work fast in accordance with pre-defined KPIs.
