The position

As a Senior Global Project Manager Rybelsus®, you are responsible for supporting the strategy development and driving priority projects including the market research and analysis. Further, analysis of the situation and future scenarios to support decision making on Rybelsus® and Semaglutide portfolio strategies. Furthermore, develop project tracker/dashboard and communication. Align projects, insights and plans with stakeholders across the organisation.


You will support the preparation of key decision making meetings, e.g. GPT, PDCouncil, PDCom and prepare internal stakeholders to align.


You are required to provide adhoc project on Rybelsus®, e.g. formulation upgrade, high-dose, and pipeline related oral Semaglutide related projects. Developing risk mitigation plans and templates.


The position requires you to be a proactive team player within Rybelsus® project team and with cross-functional colleagues in Commercial & Corporate Affairs, GBS and GLP-1 Marketing/Project departments (HQ) and comes with high degree of knowledge sharing when possible and with outstanding stakeholders’ management skills.

You need to have the below knowledge and skills.

  • Graduate degree in Pharma (B. Pharm), Science/Biotechnology (B.Sc), Engineering (B.Tech)
  • Master’s Degree (preferable) from a well-recognized institute
  • Good academic track records and grades
  • 8+ years of overall experience
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in analysing complex data-sets, collecting data, effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture
  • Strong experience with project management
  • Experience with current NN systems is preferred
  • Strong collaboration with complex and multiple stakeholders’ across different functional areas (e.g. Medical and Science, Regulatory, Product Supply, Commercial) and other internal stakeholders
  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple and efficient communications and develop storylines for presentations and summaries to executives
  • Ability to work across the portfolio and different brand perspectives and timing of events
  • Strong communication skills and high quality output
  • Technical skills: MS PowerPoint, MS Excel (VBA, pivot etc.) and MS Word are a must


About the department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs, GBS unit is based out of Bangalore, India and is responsible for driving planning & execution of deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas including Insulin, GLP-1, Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning & Commercial Operations and BioPharma global marketing for Hemophilia & growth disorders.
