About the department

 

Our Clinical Data Operations & Insights group is about 400 professionals spanning across India, Denmark, and North America. Data Management sits in Development where we manage clinical drug development worldwide, ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations, and business ethics while delivering viable products that make a difference to patients and ultimately benefit society. Our newly formed Data Review and Cleaning group sits within the Data Management & Centralised Data Review Department led from our Bengaluru site. The Data Review and Cleaning group has been set up to centralize and modernize the data review and cleaning processes, implement new methodologies, and develop innovative toolkits supporting the transformation.

 

The Position

 

As Senior Clinical Programmer you will be responsible for will be responsible for maintaining system-related documentation and support initiatives within Data Management CDR, including training, to support overall compliance and adherence to data review through robust reports and tools.

 

  • Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data visualization dashboards to help users understand and analyze data using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

 

  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate reliable and scalable components into applications and support the development of intelligence solutions that help with data collection, transformation, and analysis.

 

  • Create and execute reports within the clinical reporting systems using SQL, PL/SQL, SAS, Python, R, etc.

 

  • Drive results by proactively identifying areas of concern and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of reported clinical data.

 

  • Ensure to solve problems and troubleshoot procedures and processes that may arise during clinical trials.

 

 Qualifications

 

   To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

 

  • Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or comparable degree in computer science, Information Technology clinical information management, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and preferably 2 plus 2-plus within clinical data management systems.
  • Working knowledge of programming languages: Python, R & R Shiny.
  • Understanding of protocol, CRF standards, and EDC data structure
  • Experience in creating reports and visualizations using BI applications such as Tableau and Power BI database software vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Good understanding of databases and SQL.
  • Experience in project management, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills
  • Profound Knowledge of GxP and guidelines within drug development.
