Your new role
As Senior Business Analyst specializing in SAP EWM, you'll be instrumental in Novo Nordisk's Warehouse 4.0 program – our transformative initiative to automate warehouse operations using modern technology including mobile robots (AGVs/AMRs) and shuttle systems. SAP EWM is the key enabler of this digitalisation journey, and you'll work within an agile team deploying this solution across our global manufacturing network.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the design and implementation of the standard SAP EWM template to support required business processes across strategic locations worldwide
- Driving the SAP EWM solution with focus on configuration, particularly EWM including MFS (Material Flow System) which interfaces to warehouse automation
- Ensuring seamless integration of SAP EWM with other SAP modules and external systems throughout the supply chain
- Guiding and supporting the existing team in troubleshooting, system configuration and following best practices
- Engaging in dialogue with WareX colleagues across the supply chain to ensure delivered solutions align with business requirements
- Collaborating closely with diverse stakeholders in IT and line of business, including Manufacturing Sites, Supply Chain IT and external vendors
- Ensuring high-quality deliverables that adhere to GxP requirements and pharmaceutical standards
- Presenting information and recommendations to stakeholders across different business functions
Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for an experienced SAP EWM professional who is passionate about driving digital transformation in supply chain operations and thrives in a dynamic, global environment. You'll bring with you:
- Mandatory: Advanced SAP EWM functional expertise with proven implementation, development and operations track record of at least 7+ years of relevant SAP EWM experience (overall 10+ years of industry experience)
- Nice to have: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience within the SAP EWM module including MFS functionality deployed in automated warehouse environments
- Optional: Substantial experience in configuring SAP Logistics modules (MM, WM, SD) with solid understanding of integration between modules and systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to seek best practice solutions while maintaining a standard mindset – you can keep the overview of high-level solutions and processes, while also performing detailed analysis
- Proven experience presenting information and recommendations to stakeholders across the business at various organizational levels
- Experience working in agile organizations with the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments
- Pharmaceutical industry experience and understanding of GxP regulations is a distinct advantage
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal

WareX (SAP Warehouse Management Solutions) is a unit responsible for the operation, maintenance, support and development of warehouse systems. The systems are used on a global scale by all areas of the business from R&D to Sales and are critical to the execution of key business processes such as development, manufacturing, sales, finance, etc. The strategic objective of the unit is to be the IT partner for the business ensuring that we provide the IT solutions and support which is needed to support the Novo Nordisk production solution as well as supply chain needs worldwide.
