About the Department

 

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs – Global Business Services (GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within Commercial & Corporate Affairs, including Insulin, GLP-1 and Obesity Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Planning and Commercial Operations. The Commercial & Corporate Affairs unit also supports Biopharm global marketing for Haemophilia and growth disorders. In Obesity Commercial Unit, we are focused on changing the way obesity is viewed and treated today, as well as increasing number of people who receive innovative treatments and quality care.  In addition to driving innovative market development and communication efforts, the unit is responsible for the global commercialization and optimization of Saxenda® and Obesity & NASH pipelines.

 

The Position

 

As an analyst, you will be primarily responsible for that demonstrates the variety of roles that the organisation expects the position to fulfil: Drive interactions and dialogue with internal stakeholders across the organization in the global set up to establish and promote social intelligence capability and to ensure effective use of the insights generated.

 

  • Lead and develop team of experienced professionals dealing with social media listening and analysis. Guide the team on social media analysis and reporting using a range of tools including Sprinkler, Brandwatch, YouScan, Talkwalker etc
  • Analytical and strategic mindset, and ability to connect the dots while synthesizing social data with broader societal trends.
  • Continually develop capabilities and capacity to produce a high rate of output while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Actively contribute to development of the wider Commercial Planning organisation through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Drive interactions and dialogue with internal stakeholders across the organization in the global set up to establish and promote social intelligence capability and to ensure effective use of the insights generated.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Master’s degree within life sciences/pharmacy/business administration, combined with a strong background in social media analysis. Expertise in statistical methods would be an advantage.
  • A minimum of 7-9 years of experience in working in pharmaceutical company/consulting services in social media analysis.
  • The candidate should have previous knowledge in social listening projects in non-English language markets.
  • Well verse with social media tools and other sources of information like Google trends and Google adwords.
  • Understanding of adverse events identification and reporting as per the established pharmacovigilance process.
  • Strong intellectual mindset with ability to understand and interpret complex societal trends.
  • Knowledge of BI visualisation tools such as Power BI would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent strategic writer, focused on clear and sharp reporting.
  • Collaborative and energised by teamwork.
  • Highly empathic and sensitive for trends in social media.
