About the Department

The Commercial, GBS unit is responsible for creating insights to launch a product, Market intel, Forecasting, Multichannel customer engagement planning, Global Brand Strategy & Tactics. Comprising of Project Management, Brand Management, Brand Communications, Life cycle Management of a product.

 

The Position 

As a Senior Associate Marketing Editor, the person will be responsible to ensure value, quality, speed, and compliance throughout content lifecycle by strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and agencies. The Marketing Editor is an advocate for each brand’s guidelines and who ensures highest quality and compliance prior to entering the market. The role involves editing scientific documents for its verbal and grammatical clarity while keeping the scientific temperament intact.Responsible for review and management of marketing content for Novo Nordisk products and evaluate readiness of materials and ensure deliverables meet requirements prior to submitting for MLR review. Review changes from all stakeholders to ensure changes were made correctly and that there were no other additions or deletions, and to ensure decision rights were implemented properly and proper comments were pulled through.

 

  • Compare old with new to verify that all updates and corrections were made to final files and that comments were considered correctly.
  • Ensure that, materials developed for the purpose of product promotion are grammatically correct, aligned with the brand guidelines and in compliance with the product label.
  • Proofread promotional material content for grammar, punctuation, style, consistency of language, and adherence to brand style.
  • Identify inconsistencies, ambiguous wording, etc and review the reference list for compliance with the applicable style guide.
  • Responsible to edit documents/tasks and assignments as per the timelines assigned and demonstrate flexibility when working with stakeholders/agencies in EU and US time zones.

 

Qualification

  • Degree in Life Science or related discipline with results in top 10%, with relevant business experience.
  • Flair for IT systems and data relations, especially with Veeva Promo mats.
  • Knowledge of life science/editorial proficiency/medical publishing.
  • Knowledge of medical, legal and regulatory requirements in the context of life science marketing.
  • Skilled at analysis, judgment and decision making, with an eye toward quality and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships and effectively influence all levels of the business.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with developed ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Push team, agencies and stakeholders if necessary, to achieve results, demonstrate drive, initiative, and explicitly show a can-do mentality towards project tasks.
  • Take an active role in Novo Nordisk business understanding and demonstrate ability to adapt in changing business priorities.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proactive and solutions oriented, willing to take ownership of deliverables and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously, seeing all through to completion.
  • Appreciate attention to detail tasks and take pride in delivering highest quality outcomes.
